Tricia KellyTricia has been working as a personal trainer for 10 years and loves helping people achieve their goals and enhance their lives through physical activity. She believes in the power of the trainer/ client relationship to help make lasting changes. With a diverse background she is able to connect with clients on a deeper level. After struggling with weight through childhood and early adult years, she understands those with similar challenges and discovered exercise as a way to cope with stress, as well as enhanced her life with healthier choices. Now she wants to inspire and help others in the same way. She became certified as a personal trainer, post-secondary rehabilitation specialist and stretch specialist through the IFPA. After several years working as a personal trainer, she began to see the clear connection between the physical and emotional aspects of health and weight management, and the increased success of working with both aspects. As a result, she wanted to increase her knowledge and ability to effectively help others, and got a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University. She believes this education helps to interact and support clients on a whole different level, and now she helps others reach their potential and discover all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. |
